Cathy Mallebranche was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and is a New York-based Fashion/Wardrobe Stylist and Costume Designer. Cathy started off designing her own clothes, as well as hiring her own tailor to create one-of-a-kind outfits. It wasn’t long before that she started getting requests from friends, family and even strangers who would occasionally approach her on the street and ask her to create and design outfits for them as well. This essentially boosted Cathy’s confidence and she later made the decision that would ultimately change her life.
With an interest in all things fashion, arts and entertainment, In 2002, with no official background in the fashion industry, she took hold of her own destiny and picked up the phone and made calls to over 100 stylists and simply asked to be given an opportunity to demonstrate her willingness and show that she was indeed ready to be a fashion stylist assistant. The opportunity was granted by some of New York’s top celebrity stylists at the time, and opened many doors to Cathy’s profound venture.
Now with two decades as a Fashion & Wardrobe Stylist and Costume Designer, Cathy has moved on to make a name for herself within the industry. She has worked with some of the industry and entertainment’s biggest celebrities, television networks, publications and New York’s Fashion Week shows.
